Pubs/Bars Ali Cats - Brills Lane just off East Street. Tucked away this is an underground bar with a cool, funky edge to it. Above Audio - Marine Parade, perfect drinking hole for some pre-Audio clubbing. Bath Arms - Meeting House Lane, central location in the south laines, for those who like their traditional pub. Fortune of War- King's Road Arches, on the beach this is a great place to chill after your sunbathing extravaganza. Freemasons - Western Road towards Hove. Nice looking pub with good food. Gemini - Kings road arches, Beach. Usually has a band playing ouside on weekends and has lots of outside sea view tables. The George - Trafalgar Street, North Laines. Vege food and a beer garden. The Globe - Middle Street, Central Brighton. Fantastic, friendly pub with basement with compfy sofas and the strangest collection of books I have ever seen. Hop Poles - Middle Street, Central Brighton. Just up the road from the Globe, this is an ideal watering hole for the thirsty, has beer garden and crazy design features.
